Eric has been a great teacher in developing all aspects of my music career. He has pushed me technically and creatively along the way and I strongly believe I would not be where I’m at currently if it wasn’t for him. Let me start off by saying that working with Eric has been one of the best, most rewarding, and valuable decisions of my life. I have been a pilot in the military for over 17 years, and an instructor pilot for almost 13. I have no formal education in music theory or any recent experience reading, writing, or creating music. That being said, I can easily say (from experience) that Eric is an absolutely amazing instructor, teacher, mentor, and now, friend. Music is a huge part of my 40 year life, so my original goal was simply to take my passion for music and turn it into a hobby. I had taken online courses from accredited schools on the use of Ableton, but while great for learning the basics of the software, they fell short in helping me create the type of EDM tracks that I enjoyed. That's when I looked for other options using Superprof.

Eric's credentials jumped out immediately, so I reached out to him with a little about my background and goals. He responded almost immediately with a level of enthusiasm I didn't really expect. We agreed on a free one-hour intro session (via Zoom) soon thereafter.

From that intro session on, it has been nothing but life-changing for me. Not only has Eric expertly been able to handle any topic or random technique, sound, rhythm, etc., that I ask of him, but he also has an insanely tuned ear and does an absolutely amazing job at breaking down and walking through very complicated topics. Even if I don't get it the first time, the way he calmly and succinctly teaches and walks through the process makes it easy to follow and take notes. For the truly complicated topics/techniques, Eric records our Zoom sessions so I can review them at any time. He is also very willing to help outside of our scheduled sessions with advice, project tweaks, or mini-instructional videos on questions that I may have. He truly is an outstanding and selfless instructor that clearly gets joy out of watching his students evolve. Oh yeah, and he gets excitement and satisfaction out of mixing/mastering your work if you so please...which he is incredible at!

Bottom line, Eric is an excellent choice for boosting your passion for creating music. What started as a hobby for me has now, due to his outstanding mentorship and time, hopefully begun to grow into something even bigger and better. It's no longer painful to sit down in front of the computer and create. It's now fun, and I'm cranking out quality tracks at a rate I never thought feasible. Time will tell, but I know one thing, no matter what happens, I have Eric to thank and to always lean on for support, knowledge, feedback, and friendship.
