About Wren
I am a BA music student, with ARSM in singing, and grade 8 violin and viola, and music theory. I achieved grade 9 at GCSE music, and A* at A level. I have a specific interest in community music and music education, and have taught in schools in group contexts and to individuals for over 5 years. At University, I hold a university choral scholarship, as well as a choral scholarship in a local church. I have sung professionally at weddings and other events. I have played violin and viola in semi-professional and professional orchestras, and played and sung under well known conductors including Bob Chilcott and John Rutter.

Lessons available in 20 minutes, 30 minutes, and 1 hour slots, at flexible times including evenings and weekends. I experience in working with children and an Enhanced DBS. Lessons available for all ages, from absolute beginners, those looking to refresh their knowledge, to more advanced lessons. I am happy to work in a range of genres, including classical, musical theatre, and pop. We can work towards specific awards and exams including Trinity and ABRSM, or have lessons for fun working towards the pieces you are interested in. Theory lessons from beginner to advanced also available. I tutor ABRSM Grade 5 theory, and am able to tutor for GCSE and A level exams.
