About Carmela
My goal is to have each student leave my lessons feeling like they gained something new that they can apply to not only the subject area, but also their everyday life. My education in Music Therapy has provided me with the skills to make sure students feel taken care of and secure in their areas of need, while feeling confident in their strengths as well.

My lessons involve an individualized approach, focused on student's learning style. A typical lesson plan starts with developing the student's strengths and then hones in on the areas that need assistance. I have a well-rounded range of experience in many areas that come together in a way that I can provide a unique perspective for students to learn from. I also have experience working with children with special needs in my Music Therapy practicum setting.
