About Ruthie
I have just graduated with a degree in music from Goldsmiths, University of London and am starting my master's degree. I work as a performer and composer in a variety of areas such as classical, jazz, rock and experimental music on a variety of instruments including the steel pan, violin, trombone and voice. I have also previously worked as an instrumental tutor.

I am offering music tuition for GCSE and A-level students. These sessions will include preparation for the written/aural exam as well as guidance, feedback and practical exercises for the composition and performance portions of the exam.
My sessions will be engaging and I am able to adapt to a variety of learning styles (those with disabilities and additional support needs are always welcome). I hope to encourage passion and creativity regardless of personal musical background, instrument, areas of interest and skill level in addition to providing the skills required to complete the exams.
I am based in South-East London for in person lessons or we can have our lessons via zoom.
