About Waseem
I’m a Palestinian artist raised in North Carolina. I have a degree in musical theater and have performed Off-Broadway and in regional theaters like A.R.T. (Cambridge), PCLO (Pittsburgh), The Goodman (Chicago). I began teaching dance in community spaces and was hired to curate a dance and creativity class for a DOE high school. From there, I started substitute teaching around NYC. I’ve been in classrooms from toddlers to young adults!
