About Kourtney
I've tutored music theory in college while being a student, and continued to do so after graduating. When I took AP music theory in high school, I scored a 4 on the exam.
As for playing an instrument, I started on violin when I was 3 and then switched to flute when I was 12. I learned to play other woodwinds while in college and after since the fingerings are similar to flute.

I've been teaching music theory (both classical and jazz) up to a college level for almost 5 years, and I've been a musician for over 2 decades. I provide hands-on tutoring, especially if students have an instrument at their fingertips so we can apply what they've learned. I understand learning anything music related can be challenging, but I try to add bits of fun elements while tutoring to make the subject more enjoyable.
