About Rohan
I am a musician from Mumbai. I have spent 14 years learning the guitar from various experienced individuals. My experience in the music scene began with an acoustic band where I implemented my songwriting skills and performed around Kolkata. I have composed for live theatre plays and musical outfits. My experiences have led me to a deeper understanding of music theories of both east and west, which I started to share and discuss with young students around me. Eventually, I started to teach in a more involved and comprehensive way to all age groups, fostering a culture of music appreciation.

I teach in both traditional and non-traditional ways. My teaching method combines music theory discussions with practical application of ideas on guitar to get a comprehensive understanding of how to express music using an instrument. I encourage and train using the vocals+guitar method wherein whatever is played on the guitar is replicated with voice to create greater mental sync. I teach ideas from Jazz, Rock, Classical, Blues, Funk, and many more which helps the students gather a crucial understanding of contemporary music. My classes are customized to be easygoing, free of stress, and stimulating conversations about music and its expression. I believe in a healthy balance of theoretical and creative expressions. My classes are intended for all age groups and levels starting from beginners to advanced.
