About Edna
Learn Mathematics with Confidence from a Qualified and Dedicated Mathematics Teacher
I am a Bachelor of Secondary Education graduate major in Mathematics and an experienced Mathematics teacher dedicated to helping students develop strong mathematical skills and greater confidence in learning.
I believe that Mathematics becomes easier when students are given clear explanations, patient guidance, and opportunities to practice at their own pace. My tutoring sessions are designed to create a positive and supportive environment where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning from them.
I take every lesson seriously and prepare activities based on the learner’s current knowledge, learning needs, and academic goals. Whether you need help understanding a difficult topic, improving your foundational skills, completing schoolwork, or preparing for an assessment, I will guide you through each step.
As your tutor, I will be patient, organized, professional, and committed to your progress. I aim not only to help you solve Mathematics problems but also to teach you how to think logically, approach problems confidently, and become a more independent learner.
Your progress matters to me, and I will do my best to make every Mathematics lesson clear, meaningful, and worthwhile. Let’s learn Mathematics together and build your confidence one step at a time!

Throughout my career I have been dedicated to creating engaging, inclusive learning experiences that foster students’ confidence, problem-solving skills, and mathematical competence. I design standards-aligned lessons that incorporate formative and summative assessment, differentiated instruction, and real-world applications to ensure accessibility and relevance for diverse learners. My experience has strengthened my abilities in classroom management, curriculum and lesson planning, data-informed assessment, and clear communication with students, families, and colleagues.
I am proficient in both spoken and written English, which enables me to build strong relationships with students from varied linguistic and cultural backgrounds. I am patient, adaptable, organized, and committed to continuous professional growth. I regularly integrate educational technology tools to enhance instruction, provide personalized feedback, and support remote or blended learning environments.
I am also eager to learn new pedagogical methods and digital resources that improve student outcomes.
I am currently seeking a part-time teaching or online tutoring position where I can apply my subject-matter knowledge, instructional experience, and dedication to student success while earning additional income. I look forward to contributing to an organization that values high-quality instruction, a positive classroom culture, and measurable academic growth. Thank you for considering my application. I welcome the opportunity to discuss how my experience, skills, and enthusiasm can benefit your team. I am available for interviews and can provide references, credentials, sample lesson plans, and student performance data upon request to support my candidacy immediately.
