About Lily
I have some tutoring experience, as I have recently helped a student excel in math by helping her achieve her highest score on her math test this year. If you need any help or if you are having trouble understanding during our tutoring session, do not be afraid to ask me for help because that's what I am here for! I will make sure you understand everything and reassure you if you are feeling stressed.

A method of teaching I like to use is real-world problems, practice questions, and sometimes rhyming to memorize. My typical lesson plan is warm-up activity, introduction to the topic & explaining, practice problems together, and then independent work to test their skills (I also may give a quiz here and there, depending on how skilled they are and what the topic is). I am very patient because I know how it feels like to not understand a topic and I know that it can be frustrating, so I will make sure the student is learning at a pace they are comfortable with. My lessons are for children in elementary school to seventh graders and even eighth graders.
