About Joe
20 years of experience in the field of rocket science. Started with United States Air Force (Edwards Air Force Base) working on ICBM (nuclear missiles) and also space propulsion (ion engines or Hall Thrusters). 10 years ago, moved to NASA Wallops in VA to work as rocket propulsion engineer on several multistage rocket vehicles that we launch all over the planet. Love my job, love spreading the joy of the job, and helping out students where ever I can. I've taught several engineering classes at University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, I do about 5 hours of outreach per week at NASA at local elementary, middle and high schools, and mentor several amateur rocket teams. Math and Sciences are the core of my career, and would like to make it the core of yours as well. If not, lets just solve some problems and have fun. There is no such thing as a dumb question and I encourage you to ask me anything , any time we are online. Most importantly, understand that its my privilege to help you, because in doing so, it re-enforces all the principles I fought hard to learn in college (and would other fade away).
