About Shauna
I have a Bachelor of Science from Central Connecticut State University in Education & Fine Arts in Theater. I have been involved in the performing arts (acting, standup comedy, podcasting, and character work) for many years. I have a great love of reading and writing, which has always been the backbone of my creative work. I love teaching private English lessons, and I also specialize in STEAM-based learning solutions. I find science and art to have a similar methodology, and experiments are fun!

I create individualized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs. I do this by conducting an initial assessment and interview to determine the students' needs and preferences. I use these to provide the proper exercises and lessons for their growth moving forward. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with a wide range of students, and I have a great sense of humor! I provide feedback after each lesson and continue to adjust as the student's needs change.
