About Ana
I am a person of varied interests, who loves to share experiences and be in contact with people. I have been teaching Brazilian language and culture for at least two years in Brighton and I am also an English teacher, certified by the University of Cambridge. Before moving, still in Brazil, I was a tutor in a dance school and I am currently involved in a project of forró classes, also in the city of Brighton. I have always been connected to teaching in some way and I am known for being very patient.

I don't like boring classes, so I always try to bring something fun to mine. I usually use songs, videos or even cake recipes (which we eat at the end) to teach verbs, rules and general vocabulary. I also teach the language talking about our rich Brazilian culture, cause I think it's all linked and it's important to know.

Perfect! Ana is an excellent teacher!
My lessons have a structured/objective-based focus, yet she is highly adaptable. Her material is presented in an easy to follow and understand format. Ana always remains an incredibly patient and encouraging teacher.
Ana tailors her teaching to my needs as a beginner and we are progressing at a speed that is comfortable but challenging for me.
Coupled with music, books and recipes Ana's teaching style and her great sense of humour have made my lessons highly informative and, importantly, very enjoyable. It is a fun class.

Ana is a brilliant teacher or how she has taught me to say in Portuguese "um ótimo professor".
She is always coming up with new and interesting ways to get my speaking and learning new words and I even enjoy the homework she gives me.
I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Brazilian Portuguese.Ana was my first English teacher in England and even after i moved to Dublin, she still teaches me! She has great teaching skills and unique patience to teach those who are starting the path of learning English. I always knew she had a gift for teaching, but after being my teacher, I just confirmed what I already knew. Whoever chooses Ana as a teacher will have the best and most dedicated teacher! ah! not to mention that Ana indicates good books, and great music as well, which is a bonus!
