About Melissa
Hi, I'm Melissa! I'm a professional footballer, certified strength and conditioning coach, and currently completing a Master's degree in Applied Sport and Performance Psychology. Alongside my work in sport, I offer structured, personalized English tutoring for students who want clear guidance, consistency, and real progress. My teaching style is calm, organized, and student-centered. I take the time to understand where you're starting, what you want to improve, and how you learn best. From there, I build a plan that is realistic, supportive, and tailored to your goals. As both an athlete and coach, I understand the importance of confidence, communication, and preparation. I bring that same mindset into my teaching. Whether you're improving your English, working on performance and mental skills, or increasing your strength and confidence in the gym, my goal is to help you feel capable, prepared, and supported. I value professionalism, clear communication, and trust. My aim is not only to help you improve, but to give you tools and strategies you can use outside out sessions. My Teaching Approach I focus on meeting students where they are and helping them learn in a way that actually works for them. Everyone learns differently, so I take the time to understand each student's goals, level, and learning style, then create an individualized plans to support their progress. My lessons are structured by flexibility. I care about making students feel comfortable, supported, and confident while still being clearly organized, and consistent. For performance-related sessions (physical and mental), I used evidence-based methods from strength training and sport and performance psychology.
