About Rory
Hello, my name is Rory and I am a TEFL-qualified native english speaker from Ireland with 3 years' teaching experience. I have a Ph.D. in History from Trinity College Dublin, where I began teaching university students from diverse backgrounds and publishing academic texts. I spent a year in Vietnam teaching english to children of all ages. I also spent three years as a Senior Recruitment Consultant in Financial Markets. I worked on and led large-scale consultation and recruitment campaigns with banks, insurance companies and asset managers, so I have a keen understanding of commercial business and its language. I have recently moved to Barcelona after spending much of 2019 traveling South America, learning some Spanish and falling in love with latino culture.
