About Mathilde
Bonjour ! I’m a native French speaker with a Master’s degree in International Development. I’ve lived in England and Japan, and I’m now self-employed in France, where I work as a naturopath. Alongside my main activity, I continue to teach French because I’ve realised over the years how much I enjoy it. I’ve been giving online lessons for over 5 years, helping English-speaking students of all ages and levels – from young children to adults preparing for exams. My approach is warm, patient, and personalised. I love creating a positive and relaxed environment where students feel confident to express themselves and progress at their own pace. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, I’d be happy to support you in your French learning journey!

I’m a native French tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching online. I’ve been working with two British teenagers (from beginner to A-Level) and their mother for several years, as well as with a 4-year-old child when I was living in the UK. Thanks to these experiences, I’ve developed the ability to adapt to any age and level, from complete beginners to advanced learners. My lessons are always friendly, supportive, and personalised. I tailor each session to your goals, age, and interests, so that learning French becomes enjoyable and meaningful for you. My teaching method combines conversation, vocabulary, grammar, and listening/speaking practice. We might use articles, games, short videos, or even songs – depending on what works best for you. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I can adapt if needed. Whether you're a child, a teenager preparing for exams (GCSE / A-Level / DELF), or an adult looking to improve your French, I’ll help you progress with confidence. Let’s work together in a positive and motivating atmosphere – and most importantly, let’s make French fun!
