About Giulia
My name is Giulia and I was born and raised in Italy! For the past 4 years, I lived in Connecticut, USA, where I did my undergraduate studies in Marketing. Here I worked as an Administrative Assistant for the director of the Accounting Program and as a Marketing & Management Writing Tutor. My task was to tutor and provide help to peer students so that they could improve their conceptual thinking and writing, alongside with grammar. I have also had experience in the corporate scene in Italy, where I worked as a Marketing & Communication Specialist. I have recently moved to London to start a MSc program at the Imperial College Business School, and am happy to offer some tutoring while I study. When it comes to tutoring, my methodology starts by giving the person the chance to understand and solve the task with his/her own reasoning at first, and then go from there. My approach is very open and friendly, as I believe the best way to learn a language is by being surrounded by a comfortable, accepting, and inspiring environment.
