About Miles
I am a TESOL qualified university English instructor and I am currently doing online teaching on various platforms, with professional students.
Previously, I lectured and taught English for Law/Law at Girne American University Northern Cyprus (I was a UK Lawyer before my teaching career).
Later, I taught English in Kayseri, Turkey at TED College. I taught mainly 5th and 6th grade pupils for 2 academic year.
I then taught tourism English in Kayseri University in Turkey
After that I taught Chinese students online for 2 years with iTutors, with excellent electronic feedback from students 8, 9 and 10 scores.
Concurrently, I taught and still teach business English to professional staff in Bucharest offices for my main client International House.
I am also teaching IELTS & Duolingo students online for their exam preparation.
In addition I am an experienced academic paper proof reader having proof read many academic papers in universities.
I can teach adults/ children /university student at pre-intermediate level upwards.
For conversational English and pronunciation, I confirm that I have a standard, BBC accent.

My teaching methodology is to obtain your need analysis and then tailor make your course to achieve the level of English /exam grade required by you.
I work from set coursebooks as well my own material. My hours are flexible and as part of the course test work and homework will be assessed by me. If you just require conversational English then these type of lessons can be provided too.
