My son was going to sit the Maths GCSEs and he scored a 5 on his mock exams. I studied a computer science degree 20 years ago, and I was sure that I could tutor him if it wasn't for my job. My wife also couldn't help. I talked to some private tutors, but none struck me as reliable. I was disheartened, but then I found Ioan. He just finished his STEM Masters with a high grade, and he has talked to me about other kids he worked with.

I attended my son's first lesson with him, and I was impressed how thorough he was with the material. He spoke in a calm way, yet he seemed very sure of himself. He was assertive and charismatic. Ioan is quick on his feet, and his lesson reminded me of one of my teachers in university. He allowed me to oversee my son's lesson at no extra charge ( it was via Zoom ), and they seemed to get along fine.

My son got a 9 in his GCSEs. The best part? I didn't have to involve myself at all past that first lesson. Ioan gave me peace of mind. He told me that, based on my son's current level, he would be able to get him to an 8, and he exceeded my expectations!
