2nd year university student on a business and chinese course, been living in the Uk for 3 years, originally from Romania. First time tutoring, but helped a few people out before with language learning Passed the CAE C1 exam with almost full marks, so I doubt there will be any troubles communicating

Structure is adapted to each individual, teaching will comprise grammar as well as vocabulary, which will include some slang and every-day expressions to get by (not the stuff you’d find in a textbook ). The grammar lessons will be in-depth as there is quite a lot to cover and you’ll receive help with pronunciation. We will study using texts from Romanian authors, as well as up to date news articles and even memes At more advanced levels I will be printing out examples of text that require a more complex understanding of the language, such as court disputes, academic texts, song lyrics and we could start watching TV shows and series.
