About Karina
In my country I worked as an English as Second language teacher, translator and interpreter. I have experience teaching children, teens and adults. In Canada I obtained a 3-year BA in English Literature and volunteered at the Hispanic Association of Manitoba Teaching English as a Second language as well as creating activities for Canadian students learning Spanish.
I am aware of the challenges adult students face when learning a new language and I love to help them through the process

I like to focus on conversation. I believe that putting grammar, vocabulary and phonetics to practice in a real conversation is the best way for students to feel confident enough to use their knowledge when they travel. I also use games, images and videos to make the classes memorable and fun.
I can meet students at their home but I prefer if they come to my place. No extra charge for worksheets and other materials.
