By incorporating real-world materials—such as news articles, music, and sports from the Spanish-speaking world—I help students not only learn the language but also appreciate its cultural depth.
Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-Up (5-10 minutes): We begin with a brief review or conversation to build confidence and assess progress.
New Material Introduction (15-20 minutes): I introduce new concepts through engaging activities, like listening exercises or reading passages tailored to the student’s proficiency level.
Practice and Application (15-20 minutes): Students apply new skills through interactive exercises, such as dialogues, writing tasks, or grammar drills, allowing them to practice in context.
