2. Pinyin and Pronunciation:
- Introduce Pinyin, the Romanization system for Mandarin Chinese.
- Teach the four tones and practice pronunciation using Pinyin charts and audio recordings.
3. Basic Vocabulary:
- Introduce a selection of basic vocabulary words and phrases, focusing on common nouns, verbs, and adjectives.
- Use visual aids and real-life contexts to facilitate understanding.
4. Grammar Basics:
- Introduce basic grammatical structures such as sentence order, verb conjugation, and basic sentence patterns.
- Provide clear explanations and examples to illustrate each concept.
5. Conclude and set homework.
- Summarise key points covered in the lesson.
- Assign homework exercises, such as reviewing vocabulary, practicing pronunciation, or completing grammar worksheets.
