**My Teaching Method & Techniques
I use a student-centered and conversational approach. Every learner is different, so I adapt my lessons to your current level, learning style, interests, and personal goals.
Our lessons may include:
- Conversational English and Tagalog
- Vocabulary building and useful everyday expressions
- Grammar explained in a simple and practical way
- Pronunciation and speaking practice
- Reading and listening activities
- Role-playing and real-life conversations
- Workplace and professional communication
- Interview and presentation practice
I encourage students to speak and participate as much as possible. When mistakes happen, I correct them in a supportive way and explain why something is incorrect, so you can understand the language rather than simply memorize rules.
**What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
- We usually begin with a short conversation or review of the previous lesson. We then focus on the main topic or skill for the day and work through examples and guided exercises.
- A large part of the lesson is devoted to actual speaking and communication, so you can practice using what you have learned. I also introduce useful vocabulary, expressions, and grammar that you can apply immediately.
- At the end of the lesson, we review the key points and identify areas to practice before our next session.
**What Sets Me Apart as a Tutor:
- I am patient, approachable, and encouraging. I understand that many learners hesitate to speak English because they are afraid of making mistakes. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, practicing, and learning at their own pace.
- I don't believe that one teaching style works for everyone. I take the time to understand what you want to achieve and tailor our lessons accordingly.
Whether you want to improve your everyday conversation, prepare for a job interview, communicate more effectively at work, travel with confidence, or simply become more comfortable speaking English, I will make our lessons practical and relevant to your goals.
**Who My Lessons Are For:
- My lessons are suitable for beginner to intermediate learners, including teenagers, adults, students, professionals, and anyone who wants to improve their English or Tagalog communication skills.
- I can help with:
* Everyday English and Tagalog conversations
* Speaking confidence and fluency
* Grammar and vocabulary
* Pronunciation
* Reading and listening comprehension
* Workplace and professional English/Tagalog
* English for job interviews
* Travel English/Tagalog
* General English/Tagalog improvement
- Whether you're starting from the basics or simply want to become more confident communicating, I'll meet you where you are and help you progress at your own pace.
