About Tin
Hi! My name is Tin, a UBC Political Science graduate and a native Vietnamese speaker. Having lived in Saigon and studied in Vietnamese public schools for 13 years, I am deeply immersed in both the Vietnamese language and culture. I can teach you not only the language but also offer insights into the rich traditions and lifestyle of Vietnam!

Textbook: Sách giáo khoa Tiếng Việt (the official textbook used by Vietnamese students from elementary to high school. The specific textbook used will be tailored to your proficiency level)
Typical Lesson Plan: Based on your goals (listening, speaking, reading, or writing), I will create a customized lesson plan to suit your needs and help you progress efficiently.
Conversation-based Approach: I will speak primarily Vietnamese to you during class and encourage you to speak only Vietnamese to me. In addition to teaching from the textbook, I will also make learning enjoyable by discussing a variety of topics in Vietnamese and help you understand our culture!
Location: Online / In-person at your house or a Public Library branch
