About Valerie
Tracing the ghost of ivory keys against my fingertips reminds me of the rigid discipline I absorbed during my 13 years of study under a Curtis Institute alum. My MMus and MSM degrees provide the bedrock for teaching rhythm, timing, and pedaling, yet I find true clarity in supporting students with ADHD, autism, or dyslexia. Hand independence, jazz improvisation, sight transposition, and accompaniment skills become accessible through adaptive notation.

Since my background is rooted in the Curtis lineage, I ensure the 10 minute warm-ups are as rigorous as they are functional.
