About Catherine

I am an Ontario Certified Teacher. I have my BA from Laurier and my BEd from the University of Nipissing. I am currently teaching with the Halton District School Board and have worked for private schools and tutoring companies in the past. I love to help those succeed in whatever they are pursuing and hope that I can help you along in your journey.

About the lesson

Everyone is different, they learn through different styles and at different rates. Therefore, I teach to my students and each session will be individualized to your unique needs. We will work together to see where you are currently at and from there set goals for where you would like to be and what you would like to learn and come out of this experience knowing.

Catherine and I have worked in the same classroom three times a week for the last five months. I can honestly say she is a phenomenal teacher. Catherine takes the time to listen to her students, she is kind, patient and tolerant yet firm and fair. In fact, today I mentioned to her that any school would be lucky to have her as a teacher. Catherine is organized and always prepared with creative, fun activities and tasks that are interesting & engaging for her students. Lastly, Catherine is a pleasure to work and collaborate with and is a true team player. I would highly recommend Catherine!!!

Catherine is the most highly motivated and skilled young teacher I have ever worked with. She has an excellent rapport with her students, and is able to meet the individual needs of every student. She plans and implements appropriate learning materials for her students, and is able to differentiate based on the students needs.
