About Nicholas
As a Canadian pianist and composer with a passion for igniting creativity in others, I've dedicated my career to sharing the joy of music with students of all ages and skill levels. With an undergraduate degree in music and over a decade of experience teaching piano and piano improvisation, I've developed a unique approach that blends technical expertise with artistic expression.
Growing up in Canada, I was fortunate to have access to exceptional music education from a young age. I began taking piano lessons at the age of 11 and quickly fell in love with the instrument. As I progressed through the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum, I discovered a passion for composition and improvisation, which led me to pursue a degree in music. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I was exposed to a wide range of musical styles, from classical to jazz and popular music. This diverse musical education has enabled me to adapt my teaching approach to suit the interests and goals of each student.
