About Mary
Nursing has been my passion for over 20 years, and I have extensive education and experience, including med/surg, surgical trauma, urgent care, ER, outpatient surgery, home care and hospice. I am currently a college nursing instructor with extensive tutoring experience. I hold a Master's degree in Nursing-ARNP from Nova Southeastern University, and am working towards my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
I am grateful for the opportunity to share my passion of Nursing with others who are eager to learn! My goal as a teacher is to equip my students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the Nursing program! I offer assistance in all Nursing programs: LPN, RN, and MSN. This includes, but is not limited to, Anatomy & Physiology, Health Assessment, Mental Health, Adult I & II, OB, Pediatrics, Nursing Theory, FNP, NCLEX and HESI prep. I am also proficient in APA style writing, and can help with research papers, discussion questions, and essays. Nursing school is tough, and you need a tutor that is willing to go that extra mile to help you UNDERSTAND the material! Let me help you ACHIEVE your goals!

I base my classes on the needs of the student and the subject areas we cover. I want to ensure the student is retaining the information, and that can be achieved through use of PowerPoints, NCLEX review books and literature, practice quizzes, or general discussion of a topic.
