Nurse Practitioner with a Masters degree. I have been a Registered Nurse (Div 1) for 16 years and a Diabetes Educator for 14. I teach Enrolled Nurse students and undergraduates at University level.

About Alison
I can work around your needs and have taught many Nursing students over the years.
I started out as an Enrolled Nurse in 2001 and have worked my way through to Masters level so can understand where you might be at in the learning process. I am a Diabetes Educator (someone who specialises in Diabetes care) and have taught individuals in the community at a Community Health Centre. I offer real-world insights in Nursing because I still work as an RN (Div 1) in Private and Public Hospitals and in Aged Cared Facilities. I am currently employed by two Nursing Agencies. This type of employment gives you flexible access to me because we can arrange a tutoring session any time of the day or evening that suits you.

I'm happy to dive in wherever you feel you need help. It might be particular subjects or aspects/concepts within a subject.
But first we determine how you learn best and what type of learner you are. You may learn best by doing, seeing, listening, discussing, writing or a combination of all of the above. Then we figure out if you prefer face-to-face or online (Webcam followed up with emailed learning tasks if that's something you would appreciate) learning or a combination of both.
This first establishment discussion will be free of charge and takes around half an hour.
Lengths of lessons are dependent on you needs but I offer half hour or one hour sessions.
