About Jessica
As a school teacher of 25 years, I have experience with all kinds of learners and love to connect with my students by seeing them fully, with skills, feelings and abilities that allow them to learn and grow.
I have taught 2nd grade through 6th grade, and love to make learning engaging, thoughtful, and fun!
As a warm and dedicated teacher, I have won many teaching awards and love to inspire confidence and skills in my students that last a lifetime.

I love teaching foundational skills through games, high-level challenges and critical-thinking strategies.
For learning the multiplication table, for example, I have many songs, games and memorization strategies to help students memorize their facts.
For early readers, I love to use engaging and funny stories and articles to give students world knowledge while teaching powerful word attack and reading skill strategies.
My students feel confident and happy at the end of my sessions!

Perfect! Jessica was truly incredible with my son. She came into our lives at a time when he was really struggling with math and needed extra support and confidence going into his 4th grade final exam. She immediately took him under her wing, identified where he needed help, and worked with him with so much patience, kindness and dedication. He passed his final, and I truly credit Jessica with helping him get there. Beyond the academics, she gave him confidence in himself. I cannot recommend Jessica highly enough.
