About Julian
I am currently studying to become a high school teacher in Physics and English, but I also have one year of pharmacy and four (successful) years of human medicine behind me, so I have extensive knowledge of various sciences. My heart beats for physics, but for me all natural sciences belong together. The languages provide a pleasant balance and different perspectives on the world - a combination that I really enjoy. I have many years of experience in giving tutoring for groups and individual students, not only privately but also, for example, through student aid. Therefore, I have already worked with many, sometimes very different students in a wide variety of situations (from fifth graders to 42-year-olds who are on their way to become a master craftsman), both short and long-term, and I therefore believe that I can help every student in the best possible way.

My lessons are aimed at everyone who is ready and willing to put a little effort and, above all, fun into the matter - so far I have not yet failed with any of my students. I see learning as a kind of teamwork in which we work together to figure out what works best for the student, the situation and how we want to organise the lessons. I always start with getting to know my students first and seeing what knowledge they have already achieved. I then try to find out where strengths and weaknesses are. I found out that often problems do not exist in current issues but rather in gaps from previous years. Depending on the personality of my students, I can react either very structured or spontaneously. I adjust to my students very individually. In any case, it is important to me that every lesson clearly shows what has been learned, as nothing is more motivating than recognizable learning progress. This also includes clear goals that need to be achieved (both in the form of subject areas / subtopics and with regard to exams). My tutoring is always student-centered, although I am still convinced that a good explanation from me is essential, which must then also be reproduced accordingly.
