I am Saakshi Sharma, psychology postgraduate from University of Essex, UK and double bachelors in Education and Human Development & Childhood Studies from Lady Irwin College, Delhi University. As an educator, I am tolerant, supportive and accepting towards diversity and differences in abilities and beliefs. I have a strong desire to positively influence, educate and enrich the lives of the student while motivating them through patience, understanding, compassion and sensitivity. I am flexible and responsive to the needs of the children while maintaining their confidentiality at all times. My areas of interest keep me updated and help me work hand in hand with the growing needs of the education system. My skills and abilities include effectively using Moodle, SPSS, ANOVA and GeoGebra, I can effectively work on
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and effectively use
smart/interactive board along with constructing wiki-page, webpage and blogs wherever needed in my lesson plan. I spend my leisure time practising NLP (Neuro – linguistic programming) and mindfulness, constructing theme-based teaching-learning games and reading Autobiographies of famous practitioners in the fields of Special Education.
