About Joshua
I am currently waiting to start at Univeristy. I have near enough achieved straight As/A*s (8/9) across the board at GCSE, as well as AAB at A Level in Law, Biology & Geography. I try to keep my tutoring fun and tailored to the individual, spending extra time focusing on what in particular the student struggles with.
I’ve experience teaching one to one with both native and non-native English speakers, as well as leading classes of up around 30 primary age children.
Furthermore, I have worked one to one with children that experience learning difficulties such as dyslexia and autism. I understand the challenges this can pose to both student and teacher, and can subsequently give a twist in my approach to these lessons.

My teaching style is perfectly methodical. Following the general syllabus closely, whilst allowing plenty of room for the students own flare and ingenuity to shine through. Depending on subject area, we will usually start with an introduction to the days topic, as well as going definitions and key words we may need. Then, following an open discussion about the work, where we will devlop key ideas further, and I always encourage as many questions as possible. To end we will get into practical, real world questions that are likely to come up one way or another in your exams.
