I am a recent graduate of a master's degree in Russian Studies with a deep interest in history, specializing in Cold War and Soviet history. As a certified assistant teacher, I have 3 years of experience as an assistant history teacher and exam trainer at a higher-level secondary school. In my lessons, besides discussing the desired subject matter, I pay a lot of attention to developing historical skills. This includes analyzing sources, thinking critically about historical empathy and differing perspectives, recognizing different types of historical questions, and structuring answers for tests and exams. My goal is to teach students to think independently and confidently so that they are able to formulate strong answers during tests and exams.
