About Federico
I am a pianist graduated from the National Conservatory of Music, I did the children's period (3 years) and I finished the technical-professional cycle (5 years). Later I got the "Outstanding Drum Performance" scholarship to study drums at Los Angeles College of Music. I have experience playing tours of the United States, Japan and Europe, as well as 5 years of experience teaching both piano and drums. Additionally, I studied Sociology at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences of UNAM.

My classes are based on seeking to achieve the objectives that the student sets for himself in the short, medium and long term. I consider the music theory as a fundamental basis to function within an instrument, so rhythmic reading and key reading is something that I use with both beginner and advanced students. In the same way, technique exercises are very important to me, so it is something that I use with any student, regardless of their level. I like to handle a classical repertoire, however my students are free to suggest songs to their liking and, depending on the difficulty, they learn them alongside the classical / base repertoire. I have a lot of experience teaching children, so patience is one of my greatest strengths as a teacher. Throughout my career, I met teachers who were not very tolerant and violent, for which I know perfectly the repercussions and disorders that a bad experience / abuse towards the student can have with the instrument and music in general in the adult life of the students. people, which is why I avoid any kind of violence in my classes at all costs. My classes, both piano and drums, not only aim at the development of the student with his instrument, but the development of the sensorial-emotional relationship with music, a quality that can be exported to different aspects of daily life.
