About Gülcan
I graduated from Hacettepe University, Department of English Language Teaching. Since I started college, I have taught many private lessons, generally at secondary and high school level. The lectures I gave were generally aimed at understanding and reinforcing what I read. I believe that I can help in the fields of Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking, whether it's learning English or improving it.

I generally start my lessons with vocabulary learning, and I believe that the more words we know, the better we can adopt the language. As in all languages, I think the important thing in English is to lay the foundation properly. I use reading and listening material a lot in my lessons. I take care to choose authentic materials. Since I find lessons with plenty of examples and exercises more useful, I use a lot of sample structures in my teaching method. I evaluate the attendance status of my courses with my students according to the efficiency that the students get from the course. Since everyone's learning style is different, I try to get to know my students' own learning style first.
