About Ivonne

My name is Ivonne, I have a degree in Performing Arts, dancer and Spanish teacher. I like to travel and get to know different places and cultures. This has taught me that language is much more than words: it is connection, culture, respect and expression. I have experience teaching students of different ages and nationalities. My classes are creative, dynamic and personalised according to your level and interests.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching Spanish is communicative, expressive, and deeply cultural. I believe in a living, authentic way of learning. My classes are fully tailored to you—your level, your interests, and your unique learning style. I use tools like music, art, play, and movement to make speaking Spanish feel natural, fluid, and truly your own.

Alex

Ivonne is one of the most kind and supportive teachers that I've had the pleasure to be taught by. As an expert dancer, she retains the rare pedagogical quality of remembering well what it was like to be a beginner. Ivonne not only enjoyably communicates the technical aspects of dance but the feeling as well.

I had a great lesson with Ivonne. She was patient with me learning the bachata for the first time and tried out different ways of teaching when I wasn't getting it.
