I started having lessons with Anna in the hopes of improving my singing. I sing in a choir as a soprano 1 and I was feeling like I was making a lot of effort while singing, especially in the high notes (which I was even doubting that I could reach) and felt my voice quite tired after rehearsals and even worse after a concert. With each lesson I felt like Anna could almost see through me and pinpoint where exactly I was tensing. I've been improving immensely and feel like the top ranges of my voice are finally available to me, which is amazing, considering I'm 42 so I have many years of bad habits that are hard to remove. Anna has also been amazingly supportive along the way. It's also worth mentioning that Anna is incredibly knowledgeable in terms of the science behind how the voice works, integrated in the whole body, which any geek like me will also find quite fascinating. This knowledge also helped me understand how my body and voice work and to be able to correct myself when singing, which is so important.
