About Cindy
I have been tutoring for over 10 years and covered many different subjects, but the majority of my focus is on math. I have experience with every grade level from Pre-K through college and have spent a lot of time recently on high school math as well as SAT prep. I have helped students dealing with various learning disabilities and also ESL students. I want to help every student that needs it and provide a safe learning environment for them while we work together as a team to reach their goals.

I commit to help students lessen their anxiety with math by working with them individually and finding ways to increase their confidence with the subject. Each student is unique and I challenge myself to create a plan for them that is individualized. After identifying some of the struggle areas, I find ways to help the student understand the material better and use creative activities to keep their interest while practicing the concepts so they become more comfortable with the material.
