About Mohammed Emon
I am a master's graduate in chemistry from the University of Oxford with 5 years of tutoring experience. I believe a lot of my success is attributed to the tutorials I received particularly in my early education. Due to this, I have always wanted to give back in the same way my tutors did for me.

I have 5 years' experience in private tutoring primarily focusing on GCSE (AQA) and A level (OCR A) chemistry. Most of my students have improved by at least 2 grades over the course of a year. I also have experience in Oxbridge preparation for the past two years.
A typical session lasts 1 hour and a half. My personal style is centred around dissecting the student’s internal monologue during problem solving, particularly with unseen problems. Therefore, most of my sessions would involve answering questions till it reaches a point at which they can no longer continue. Thus allowing me to identify their weaknesses. This, in my experience, has proven to be more effective than me just explaining key ideas.
