About Caitlin Grace
I am a law student at the University of Oxford currently taking some time off before commencing my final year, and provide flexible tutoring 7 days a week.
I’m on track to achieve a high 2:1/first in my degree, and achieved A*A*A*A in English, Latin, Art and History at A-Level. I also have experience of 11-plus exams and the LNAT. I love working with people and am an aspiring Family Law barrister, with a focus on Children Law, so I think a great benefit of tutoring is improving my problem solving and people skills, alongside the primary aim of enabling pupils to achieve their full potential.
Outside of my degree, I enjoy oil painting, tennis, and learning languages - I am currently self-teaching Mandarin and Indonesian ahead of a trip to southeast Asia!

I take a friendly, patient and supportive approach to tutoring. Having taken four subjects at A-Level, as well as experiencing the high-pressured environment of Oxford Law, has given me a keen understanding of the anxiety that can surround schoolwork and revision. I therefore feel that it is very important to teach in a holistic manner, taking into account a pupil's personal goals and capabilities, as opposed to constantly pushing them to attain the highest possible grades. I’m confident that I can strike a balance between encouraging high results whilst respecting my pupil’s own abilities and learning pace.
To this end, I approach lessons in a relaxed but firm manner - learning should be fun, engaging, and foster a real love for the subject, but I also know the importance of keeping pupils focused! I am genuinely passionate about the subjects I tutor in, and I believe that this is one of the most important attributes for any teacher.
-> My lessons typically last 50min (a variation of the Pomodoro method, which enhances focus and reduces the possibility of burnout).
-> I tutor students of all abilities preparing for GCSEs or A levels.
-> My qualifications: A*A*A*A at A level in Art, English, Latin and History; on track for a high 2:1/first in BA Law at the University of Oxford.
