About Julia
I am a Philosophy, Politics, and Economics graduate from the University of Oxford. I achieved three A*s at A level, and I aim to help my tutees reach the same standard of excellence. As a young and approachable tutor, I relate easily to students and support them not only with the syllabus but also with developing the wider skills needed to achieve top grades. In addition to academic tutoring, I also offer conversational sessions in Politics for anyone who wants to deepen their understanding or simply enjoy discussing current affairs.

Lessons are relaxed, engaging, and tailored to the student’s exam type, current level, and target grade. For exam-focused students, we concentrate on filling syllabus gaps, strengthening technique and essay-writing skills, and gradually building up to past-paper practice for top grades. I also offer relaxed and engaging conversational tutoring in politics, tailored to the student’s interests, whether that is current affairs, political theory, or simply developing confidence in discussing complex political ideas.
