About Jack
I have studied Economics at university for five years - I completed my undergraduate degree at Nottingham in 2017, and have been studying for an MPhil in Economics since then, specialising in Microeconomics. Having also studied A-Level Economics, I am well placed to help school students in Economics and undergraduates in Microeconomics and Econometrics.

Economics involves solving problems and communicating concepts, and my teaching method involves practising these things by challenging students to do both while I provide nudges to help them in the right direction. Solving problems and explaining Economic concepts helps boost a student's confidence, and is perfect practise for exams.
I find it most useful if students let me know any topics or problems that they would like to cover as this allows for the best use of the time together. I am available to teach Economics to A-Level standard, and Microeconomics and Econometrics at degree level.

Jack has helped me with econometric analysis for my masters dissertation. He was very well prepared and we went through the theoretical basics and the appropriate tests step by step. Jack answered every question with patience and explained the complex topics understandable. At the end we summarised all the content discussed and moreover discussed the next steps I need to take. In summary I really enjoyed the lessons and felt good prepared for my analysis.
