About Derek
I am a fashion designer at Kith and a Parsons School of Design honors graduate with a strong background in menswear, formalwear, and advanced tailoring techniques. My experience spans pattern making, garment construction, and design development at an industry level. I’m passionate about mentoring the next generation of designers, sharing both creative skills and practical knowledge needed to excel in fashion. Learn menswear, tailoring, and pattern making from an experienced fashion designer currently working at Kith. As a Parsons School of Design honors graduate, I bring industry-level skills in formalwear construction, design development, and garment finishing. My lessons are hands-on, focusing on practical skills and creative problem-solving tailored to your goals—whether you’re a beginner or an aspiring professional. Each session includes design techniques, pattern drafting, and insider tips on building your portfolio. I also collaborate with a network of talented designers from Parsons, FIT, Pratt, and Central Saint Martins, giving students valuable industry insight.

Perfect! Amazing, derek is really a skilled fashion tutor. His professional and knows what I need. He also have a great sense and taste and knowledgable about fashion construction from sewing to patternmaking.
