I am a final year Masters student at the University of Cape Town. I have a degree in Mining & Geology, with honors in Rock Engineering. I have been a tutor for 5 years in all the universities I attended. I love sharing my knowledge with people in need.

In my lessons I always introduce myself to new students. The actual lesson is always based on subjects or concepts that my students are struggling with. The next thing is to solve these issues individually paying more attention to those who are struggling, it may not take only one tutorial to attend to all the problems my students have.
On days where I have to teach or introduce a concept, I begin by explaining it and discussing it with my students. The next step is to find out if anyone needs clarity on the concept or parts of the concept, then if everyone has shown some understanding then I give an activity or ask a series of questions to see if my students have truly grasped the concept. After the assessment and giving feedback to my students then we move on to the next concept or chapter.
