About Charlotte
I am actually a film school graduate, however one of my great passions is Latin. I received an A in my Latin A-Levels and have continued to work at it. I tutored my sister and her friends for their Common entrance exams and they all received results spanning form A*-B. Although I do not have a great deal of experience, I am a very hard worker, very patient and passionate and love working with people of all ages.

I think my methodology completely depends on the level and age group of my tutee. As most people find the grammar the hardest aspect of Latin, my lessons especially for beginners would mainly be concentrated on locking down the basic grammar elements such as verb conjugations, noun declensions and sentence structure. I would provide translation exercises and vocabulary lists and, as Latin is so heavily connected to English, would spend at least a small portion of tutorials working with students on how the two languages are connected, as realising this helped me a lot when I was learning. Of course, if students have homework, I am very happy to give them a helping hand too. I believe in repetition and thorough learning and above all patience and kindness when it comes to teaching.
