About Indrani

I have decided to choose a career path in music out of my passion for it. While I have completed my Master's level in Rabindra Sangeet, I have extensive experience in classical music, Bengali folks, bhatiyali, to name a few music genres. Making way in the world of music is not a cup of tea for everyone. It requires determination, passion, dedication, and the willingness to go on. If you want to take baby steps in this subject or want to be acquainted with it out of love for music, then probably I am the counselor you are looking for. And if you want to be more inclined towards getting a breakthrough in the music industry, then I would recommend another round of scanning in your pursuit of a more suitable mentor.

About the lesson

No matter what particular musical genre you follow, it needs extensive use of your imagination and R&D for your skill to evolve. While I, or any other mentor can assist you, ultimately it all will come down to you to decide how much you can grow.

Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?
I had a childhood knack in Rabindra Sangeet. Gradually, as I grew up, I started exploring other genres of music as well. Hindustani Classical style also caught my attention.
What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?
I wanted to pass on my knowledge and passion. Moreover, it is always good to connect with a fresh mind, because they can help you grow too.
How does your work help society?
Music is something that helps a person to maintain emotional stability. Music is something which has its own language beyond any kind of boundary across the globe.
If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?
Usually in music, there are so many great names, It is really hard to choose any single one. But, still, I would like to choose the great Rabindranath Tagore.
Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.
I love cooking and painting.
Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?
Difficult to answer in writing. But, we will discuss it during our first class. :)
