About Sri

Music is a deeply personal and transformative journey for me. Having navigated the modern learning ecosystem myself over the last few years, I know exactly when new students get stuck, confused, or discouraged.

My academic background is in psychology which directly influences how I teach and adapt with the uniquenesses of my students. I understand how difficult it feels to some to even think about starting to learn music theory and perform or showcase their vocal levels to someone.

I have hands-on experience providing structured, private, one-on-one, academic tutoring to young learners, focusing on patience, clear communication, and goal tracking.
My goal as your tutor is to make music theory and basic vocals feel approachable, logical, and fun instead of something intimidating.

Let’s build your base together without any fear or overwhelming feelings. All you have to remember is that YOU CAN DO IT!

My lessons are designed exclusively for female new starters or beginners who want a safe and pressure-free space to begin their music journey and/or strengthen their foundation.

What we focus on in our sessions:
• ABRSM Grades 1–3 Music Theory: Learning the basics of reading, writing, and understanding sheet music seamlessly in simple and bite-sized steps.
• Exam & Passion Alignment: Structuring our lessons for your specific goals & needs whether you want to pass official exams or just enjoy a creative hobby.
• Pop Vocal Foundation: Building core breath support, pitch accuracy, and other foundational techniques using healthy and beginner-friendly methods.

Any female beginner or new-starters of any age and background like ethnicity, nationality, certain chronic illnesses, certain disabilities, neurodiversity, sexuality, gender identity etc. are welcome to start or polish their journey with me.

I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all type of rigid instructions. Instead, I start with understanding your uniqueness, helping you reduce anxiety, and build your confidence from the very first lesson.
