Hello! I'm Julia Marie, a native Filipino and Tagalog speaker who is passionate about helping students achieve their language-learning goals. Hi! I'm Julia Marie, a native Filipino and Tagalog speaker who is passionate about helping students learn Tagalog in a fun, practical, and supportive environment. Whether you're learning Tagalog for school, work, travel, connecting with family, or simply out of personal interest, I'm here to help you gain confidence every step of the way.
My teaching approach focuses on interactive learning rather than memorization. I use real-life conversations, vocabulary-building exercises, pronunciation practice, grammar explanations, reading passages, and writing activities to help students understand how Tagalog is naturally spoken and used. I encourage questions and provide a relaxed atmosphere where making mistakes is part of the learning process.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous topics, followed by introducing new vocabulary or grammar in a simple and easy-to-understand way.
