About Ian
I have been a percussionist nearly my entire life. With over two and a half decades of practice, music is a part of my soul. I enjoy nothing more than getting to create music, whether it be through writing, playing or performing. I want to share music with others and help to educate any way I can.

I feel that playing an instrument is a gift that we can give ourselves, though we must give grace and patience for our time to learn. When instructing my students, I make sure to focus on a strong foundation of skills that can then translate to learning music as a whole. My teaching variety has ranged from 3 years old to 88 years old, and everything in between.
